screenshot.png I remember reading a suggestion a few months ago that you store your ID and rewards program cards as photos in your iPhone to save room in your wallet. I never tried it myself, since I was skeptical that it would work–the resolution on the iPhone camera is not that great, and I wasn’t sure the scan codes would transfer. Now it looks like an app for the iPhone called Card Star has taken the guesswork out of minimizing the cards in your wallet.

The App is going to be priced at $0.99 (pretty standard), but for a limited time, you can download it for free. I cannot find any information on how long you have to download it, but as of the time of posting this message, the deal is still going. It will work on the iPhone and the iTouch, OS 2 or later.

Brilliant. I am tired of carrying around all the cards and the thickness they have added to my wallet.
