ABDPBT Glossary
nikonhatesbabies
This refers to the controversy that started after a private party thrown by Nikon at the BlogHer Conference in 2009 was hosted at a venue that did not allow children -- specifically babies -- inside. Though I was not invited to the event, what I pieced together after the fact was that Esther Brady Crawford (now the editor of ShePosts.com) was denied entrance the Nikon party because she had a baby in tow. Discussion of the event on Twitter in the days that followed ended up carrying the hashtag #nikonhatesbabies, even though it was not actually Nikon's policy that prohibited a baby from entering the party.
